MP Filtri RFMC Side-Tank Mounted Return Filters

MP Filtri RFMC return filters have a working pressure of up to 20 bar (290 psi) and flow rates up to 615 litres/minute, with female threaded connections up to 1″ and flanged connections up to 1 1/2″.

RFMC filters are designed for side-tank mounting with an integrated shut-off valve, protecting the reservoir against system contamination. They sit below the minimum oil level, connected directly to the system’s return line. The shut-off valve closes automatically when the cover is removed, allowing the filter element to be replaced without fluid loss.

The MP Filtri RFMC series comprises: RFMC250

Features of MP Filtri RFMC filters include:

    • Female threaded connections up to 1″ and flanged connections up to 1 1/2″, for a maximum flow rate of 615 litres/minute
    • Automatic shut-off valve, to allow filter element replacement without fluid loss
    • Bypass valve, to relieve excessive pressure drop across the filter media; opening pressure 175 kPa (1.75 bar) ±10%
    • Magnetic filter, to hold ferrous particles
    • Visual, electrical and electronic clogging indicators
    • Seals: standard NBR, series A | optional FPM, series V
    • Temperature: from -25 °C to +110 °C

Common applications: compact mobile machines, compact industrial equipment.

    Filter housing materials:

    • Filter body: aluminium
    • Cover: polyamide, GF reinforced
    • Valve: polyamide, GF reinforced, and steel
    • Anti-emptying valve: steel

    Pressure:

    • Test pressure: 3 MPa (30 bar)
    • Burst pressure: 6 MPa (60 bar)
    • Pulse pressure fatigue test: 1,000,000 cycles with pressure from 0 to 2 MPa (20 bar)
