Continental Hydraulics proportional valves can be found in some of the most challenging applications around the world

The range includes servo-proportional directional control, directional control with/without on-board control, compensated flow control, pressure relief, pressure reducing and ATEX hazardous location valves.

High performance servo-proportional directional control

  • VED*MX pilot operated and VED0*MX direct operated high response 4-way pilot operated servo-proportional directional control. Maximum pressure 350 bar (5000 psi) and flow rates up to 400 litres/minute (VED*MX) and 100 litres/minute at 70 bar P-T (VED0*MX).

Directional control without on-board controls

  • VED0*M 4-way proportional pilot operated directional control valves without on-board control. Maximum pressure of 350 bar (5000 psi) and a maximum flow rate of 1600 litres/minute.

Directional control with on-board control

  • VED03MG – direct operated 4-way proportional valves with on-board digital amplifier; maximum pressure of 5000 PSI (350 bar) and a flow rate of 26 litres/minute.
  • VED05MG direct operated 4-way proportional valves with on-board electronics; maximum pressure of 320 bar (4600 psi) and flow rate of 60 litres/minute.
  • VED0*MG pilot operated proportional valves with on-board digital amplifier in 5 sizes with maximum pressure of 350 bar (5000 psi) and a maximum flow rate of 1600 litres/minute.

Directional control with on-board control and spool position feedback

  • VED03MK | VED03MJ a direct operated 4-way proportional valve with on-board digital amplifier and spool position sensing. Maximum pressure 350 bar (5000 psi) and flow rate of 30 litres/minute at 10 bar P-T.
  • VED05MJ a proportional directional control valve with on board electronics and position feedback. Maximum pressure of 320 bar (4600 psi) and a flow rate of 75 litres/minute.
  • VED0*MJ – A proportional pilot operated directional control valve with on board electronics and spool position feedback. Maximum pressure of 350 bar (5000 psi) and a maximum flow rate of 1600 litres/minute.

ATEX / Hazardous location valves

  • VED*HL KD2 a hazardous location, proportional, direct pilot operated explosion proof valve with pressures up to 350 bar (5000 psi) and flows from 75.7 to 1601 litres/minute and ATEX certification 94/4/EC.

Compensated flow control

  • EDF*M – EDF03M and EDF05M are direct operated normally closed proportional flow control valves with pressure compensation. Maximum pressures are 250 bar (3600 psi) and maximum flow rate is 80 litres/minute.

Pressure relief

  • VER03M | VER03MG Direct operated proportional pressure relief valves with maximum pressure of 350 bar (5000 psi) and a maximum flow rate of 5 litres/minute (and on board electronics – VER03MG).
  • VER03MP | VER03MPG Pilot operated proportional pressure relief valves with a maximum pressure of 350 bar (5000 psi) and a maximum flow rate of 50 litres/minute (and on-board electronics – VER03MPG).
  • VER*SP | VER*SPG Proportional pilot operated pressure relief valve with subplate mounting in 4 proportional pressure ranges up to 350 bar (5000 psi) for flow rates up to 500 litres/minute (with on-board digital amplifier, VER*SPG).

Pressure reducing

  • VEP 03 MSV A 3-way modular proportional pressure reducing/relieving valve with a maximum pressure of 320 bar (4600 psi) and a maximum flow rate of 50 litres/minute.
