Hydraulics Online has been created around its customers. That’s why we’ve always been independent: we don’t want to be driven by supplier demands and sales targets to promote their products above those of others. And from the outset, we have always genuinely believed in the importance of delivering first class customer service within a culture of continuous improvement.
From day one, customer feedback had always been that we were doing things right, doing things well… but we eventually wanted more than that. We wanted to have our quality ethos and commitment to continuous improvement independently affirmed.
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is the world’s largest developer of voluntary International Standards. ISO 9001 is based on a number of quality management principles including: a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, adopting a process approach and continual improvement. Put simply, ISO 9001 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services.
A recognised world authority
In 2013 we embarked on achieving ISO 9001 Quality Management accreditation through the British Standards Institution. We chose the BSI as a recognised world authority on management systems, accredited in their own right through UKAS.
In February 2014 we were certified by the BSI for operating a Quality Management System which meets the requirements of ISO 9001 for the supply of hydraulic equipment and components and the assembly and supply of power packs. You can see a copy of our ISO 9001 Accreditation Certificate here.
