MP Filtri FRIC Return Filters

MP Filtri FRIC return filters have a working pressure of up to 20 bar (290 psi) and flow rates up to 2500 litres/minute. They have female threaded connections up to 2 1/2″ and flanged connections up to 3 1/2″.

FRIC filters can be fixed directly to the reservoir in an immersed or semi-immersed position, or connected to the lines of the system through hydraulic fittings. The filter output must always remain immersed in the fluid to avoid aeration or foam generation in the reservoir.

Features of MP Filtri FRIC filters include:

• Female threaded connections up to 2 1/2″ and flanged connections up to 3 1/2″, for a maximum flow rate of 2500 litres/minute
• Double input connections, to connect several return lines or drains
• Fine filtration rating, to get a good cleanliness level into the reservoir
• Bypass valve, to relieve excessive pressure drop across the filter media; opening pressure 240 kPa (2.4 bar) ±10%
• Visual, electrical and electronic differential clogging indicators
• Seals: standard NBR, series A | optional FPM, series V
• Temperature: from -25 °C to +110 °C
• Vertical mounting only

• Filter body: aluminium (FRIC255), anodised aluminium (FRIC025-040-100-250-630), phosphatised steel (FRIC850)
• Cover: polyamide, GF reinforced (FRIC255), anodised aluminium (all others)
• Valve: polyamide, GF reinforced, and steel

Pressure:

• Test pressure: 3 MPa (30 bar)
• Burst pressure: 6 MPa (60 bar)
• Pulse pressure fatigue test: 1,000,000 cycles with pressure from 0 to 2 MPa (20 bar)
