Euro Press Pack COF#L Cylinder – Oil Return

The Euro Press Pack COF#L is an aluminium cylinder with a smooth hollow saddle designed to prevent rod deformation. The COF#L has a threaded body, rod and base to facilitate the fixing and inserting of any necessary accessories. These cylinders are equipped with a safety valve connected to the retract chamber to prevents any possible overpressure. The end of stroke nut has a wiper to prevent the penetration of dirt and a nitride anti-corrosive treatment across the whole cylinder makes it suitable for works in harsh environments.

Applications:

The through hole makes the COF#L particularly suitable for tensioning operations of tensile structures, assembly and extraction of pulleys, bushings and heat exchanger pipes. They can be used in pushing and pulling operations by attaching a bar or a cable to the saddle. The aluminium construction of this model makes it more suitable for applications where weight and maneuverability are important.

Users should note the important requirement to lower the pressure inside the cylinder before disconnecting the quick coupler. Practicing this avoids problems re-inserting if lowering the load. In the case that pressure persists it is possible to use the KTS38 apposite tool in order to lower the pressure in the couplers.
