MP Filtri MDHC Deaeration Return Filters
MP Filtri MDHC deaeration return filters have a working pressure of up to 10 bar (145 psi) and flow rates up to 500 litres/minute, with female threaded connections up to 1 1/2″ and flanged connections up to 1 1/2″.
MDHC filters are designed for efficient, compact hydraulic reservoir management, fitted in a semi-immersed or fully immersed position. The design reduces the volume of air entering the tank and the velocity of air passing through the filter, helping separate air from the fluid and protecting the system against the effects of air contamination such as cavitation, foaming and fluid degradation. Filtration from inside to outside keeps contaminated fluid within the used filter element for a cleaner replacement.
The MP Filtri MDHC series comprises: MDHC250
Features of MP Filtri MDHC filters include:
- Female threaded connections up to 1 1/2″ and flanged connections up to 1 1/2″, for a maximum flow rate of 500 litres/minute
- Multiple connections, to connect several return lines or drains
- In to out filtration, to reduce the risk of residual contamination entering the system during maintenance
- Fine filtration rating, to get a good cleanliness level into the reservoir
- Bypass valve, to relieve excessive pressure drop across the filter media; opening pressure 175 kPa (1.75 bar) ±10%, or 300 kPa (3 bar) ±10%
- Anti-drain membrane, to reduce the volume of air entering the tank
- Optimised flow path, to reduce the speed of fluid through the filter
- Diffuser with optimised output, to promote air separation and reduce the risk of foaming and noise
- Oil dipstick, to easily check the fluid level in the reservoir (sold separately)
- Visual, electrical and electronic clogging indicators
- Seals: standard NBR, series A or W | optional FPM, series V or Z
- Temperature: from -25 °C to +110 °C
- Vertical mounting only
Common applications: heavy duty industrial equipment, large mobile machines with limited space for the tank.
