Description
Poclain PMV0 pumps are variable displacement axial piston pumps with a swash plate design. They are for use in closed circuit hydrostatic transmissions.
These pumps are equipped with high pressure relief valves and can be delivered with auxiliary gear pumps; they are are available as single or tandem pumps.
They provide a continuously variable flow rate between zero and maximum in forward and reverse direction. Flow rate is proportional to rotation speed and the swashplate angle.
A charge pump can also be used to keep the circuit pressurised. This avoids risk of cavitation and ensures a good performance of the transmission.
Two types of control are available: direct mechanical and servo hydraulic. Other options include a flushing valve, a filter on charge pressure line and safety devices are also available.
Poclain PMV0 pumps are available in 5 sizes from 7 cc/rev to 18 cc/rev: PMV0-07 | PMV0-09 | PMV0-11 | PMV0-14 | PMV0-18
Theoretical flow across the pump series ranges from 25.5 to 64.3 litres/minute. Rated speeds are 3600 rpm, rated pressure is 210 bar (3045 psi), with maximum pressure of 300 bar (4351 psi).
