Description
The Bucher QXM gear pump / motor (drive unit) can be used in open- and closed-loop hydrostatic drives – operating as both a pump and as a motor.
The QXM works as a pump to lift the load and it can recover energy when the load is being lowered.
Used as a bi-directional pump / motor (four-quadrant operation), the unit can control the complete motion cycle of a cylinder.

Across the series, continuous operating pressure varies from 100 bar to 160 bar, with intermittent pressure from 125 bar to 210 bar. Maximum speed varies from 3000 rpm to 5500 rpm when operating as a motor and from 1000 rpm to 4000 rpm as a pump.
