Euro Press Pack CMT#L Cylinder – Spring Return

The Euro Press Pack CMT#L is an aluminium spring return pulling cylinder. Only the stem and eyelets are not manufactured from aluminium. The use of light weight metal in this cylinder ensures easy of transport and application. The CMT#L is also supplied with bellows to protect the stems and an anodizing surface coating for maximum longevity. Models over 30 tons are equipped with a carrying handle.

Applications:

The CMT#L is specifically used in shipbuilding and heavy metal carpentry, for example, performing a function in combing plates, sheets or prefabricated elements that must be welded.

Users should note the important requirement to lower the pressure inside the cylinder before disconnecting the quick coupler. Practicing this avoids problems re-inserting if lowering the load. In the case that pressure persists it is possible to use the KTS38 apposite tool in order to lower the pressure in the couplers.
