Contacting Hydraulics Online was an absolute revelation – Ship Superintendent

Praise was recently given to our team by a London-based yacht management and charter company. Ian, our technical sales engineer, went to great lengths to help source and deliver a replacement Parker tandem pump for the main engine reduction gearbox on their vessel “Adeline” – the customer took delivery within 24 hours of getting in touch.

And when Royal Caribbean’s ship ‘Brilliance of the Sea’ found itself in urgent need of an obscure electrical connector for a Parker Denison Gold Cup pump, they reached out to a number of existing suppliers with their technical drawings and specifications. The average lead time of 10 weeks that they had been given was simply not acceptable and so they contacted Hydraulics Online.

Once again, we pulled out all the stops to help and managed to get the lead-time down to just 1 week. Royal Caribbean Cruises was delighted with the news and the part was quickly expedited to the Chief Engineer based at the vessel’s port agent in Amsterdam.

One of our multinational cabling customers, describes finding Hydraulics Online as “an absolute revelation”. Based on a minimal part description and some photos, we sourced a suitable part – and at a keen, competitive price. On the back of that experience, Hydraulics Online became one of their approved suppliers.
