Bondioli & Pavesi Motors
Bondioli & Pavesi hydraulic motors cover high-speed gear motors, axial piston motors for hydrostatic transmissions, and low-speed, high-torque radial piston, gerotor, and geroler motors (or roller motors).
Displacements run from 1.9 cm³/rev on the smallest aluminium gear motor to 500 cm³/rev on the largest geroler motor, with pressures across the portfolio of Bondioli & Pavesi motors of up to 450 bar on the piston ranges.
The motors are used mainly on mobile equipment in agriculture, construction and materials handling, as well as in industrial drives.
Bondioli & Pavesi Motor Range
Gear Motors
- HPL Aluminium Gear Motors: 9 to 88 cm³/rev in four groups (HPLMA1 to HPLMA4), with peak pressures up to 310 bar and speeds up to 4,000 rpm on the smaller groups. Modular design with a choice of European, German and SAE flanges, tapered, round and splined shafts, unidirectional or bidirectional versions, and rear covers with integrated check, pressure relief and anti-cavitation valves.
- HPG Cast Iron Gear Motors: 5 to 90.5 cm³/rev, up to 320 bar. Used in the same applications as the aluminium range but designed for heavy duty cycles where pressures or mechanical loads are higher. Pressure and directional control valves are available.
Axial Piston Motors
- Fixed Displacement Motors: 21 to 125 cm³/rev, up to 450 bar, in the M4, M5, M6 and M8 series. Designed for closed-circuit hydrostatic transmissions and also suitable for open circuits such as hoists and fan drives.
- Variable Displacement Motors: 34 to 115 cm³/rev maximum displacement, up to 420 bar, including the M4MV, M5MV, HPV3 and HPV4A. Two-position hydraulic, two-position electric and proportional electric controls are available, with built-in exchange (flushing) and pressure relief valves and cartridge (plug-in) versions for planetary hubs.
- Bent Axis Fixed Displacement Motors (BF): 10 to 125 cm³/rev, up to 450 bar, for rotary drives and hydrostatic transmissions in closed circuits and for open circuits. A bent-axis design gives high starting torque, high speeds and high volumetric and mechanical efficiency.
- Bent Axis Variable Displacement Motors (HPBA): 60 to 200 cm³/rev maximum displacement, up to 450 bar, with two-position or proportional displacement control. Used for travel drives on self-propelled machines and variable speed rotary drives. A plug-in version is available.
All Bondioli & Pavesi axial piston motors are IoT-ready and can be fitted with sensors.
Low Speed, High Torque Motors
- HPR2 Radial Piston Motors: 106 to 402 cm³/rev, up to 450 bar. Compact, modular LSHT motors in two versions: a wheel version with an integrated flange for mounting directly on standard rims, and a shaft version with a DIN 5480 splined shaft for driving gears, sprockets, pulleys and couplings.
- OZ Gerotor Motors: 8 to 400 cm³/rev, up to 225 bar, with compact radial distribution and needle roller or ball bearing options, in the OZ M0 compact and OZ PY series.
- OZ Geroler Motors: 50 to 500 cm³/rev, up to 300 bar. The OZ RY has radial distribution, while the OZ 3Y and OZ 4Y have front (offset disc) distribution and tapered roller bearings.
