Euro Press Pack CMI#N Cylinder – Spring Return

The Euro Press Pack CMI#N is a multi-purpose spring return cylinder. CMI#N cylinders have a metric collar thread and a mounting body in the base for versatile fixing and support. Further, the broad range of stroke extension facilitates a wide number of applications for this cylinder. They are supplied with an interchangeable grooved pushing saddle and models above 30 tons are supplied with a carrying handle for transportation purposes. All cylinders are treated with a nitride anti-corrosive coating and come with a wiper seal to prevent the penetration of dirt and to extend the life of the cylinder.

Applications:

These cylinders can be operated in any orientation and are designed for versatile usage including; industrial works, steel structural works, presses and more specialised applications. The afore mentioned nitride treatment and wiper seal make this particularly suited to harsh and exposed environments.

Users should note the important requirement to lower the pressure inside the cylinder before disconnecting the quick coupler. Practicing this avoids problems re-inserting if lowering the load. In the case that pressure persists it is possible to use the KTS38 apposite tool in order to lower the pressure in the couplers.
