Hawe AVT and AVM Throttle Valves

Description

Hawe AVT and AVM series valves are shut-off, throttle valves that are used to perform a metering function. These valves are designed to cause a pressure drop between the inlet and outlet side. This allows for the velocity of cylinders in accumulator circuits, and the flow rate in control circuits, to be regulated. This throttle valve can also completely shut off a consumer line, (e.g. to protect a pressure gauge).

The AVT type produces a throttle effect by means of an annular gap, making it sensitive to adjustment. It is mounted in a standard T-housing, and can be connected with a a pipe screw for a direct connection. Various configurations can be optioned for the AVT and AVM valves, hence these valves can be used in a broad range of hydraulic systems.

Key technical specifications of the Hawe Type AVT and AVM include:

  • Maximum pressure: 500 bar
  • Flow rate: 25 – 50  litres/ minute
