HydraForce PS10-40 Sequence Valve

The HydraForce PS10-40 valve is a spool type, direct acting, adjustable, external pilot hydraulic sequence valve with externally vented spring chamber.

The PS10-40X blocks flow between ports 2 and 3 bidirectionally. The spring chamber is constantly vented at port 4. On attainment of the valve pressure setting at port 1, the spool shifts to open ports 2 and port 3 bidirectionally. Pressure at port 4 is additive to the spring setting at a 1:1 ratio.

Technical features include:

• Adjustments cannot be backed out of the valve.
• Adjustments prohibit springs from going solid.
• Optional spring ranges to 151.7 bar (2200 psi).
• Hardened precision spool and cage for long life.
• Industry-common size.

Pressure ratings:

• Pressure rating: Ports 1, 2 and 3 – 206.8 bar (3000 psi), Port 4, 68.9 bar (1000 psi)
• Proof pressure: 482.6 bar (7000 psi)
• Burst pressure: 965.3 bar (14000 psi)

Flow ratings:

• Flow rating: 37.8 litres / minute (10 gallons / minute)
• Maximum internal leakage: 82 ml / minute (5 in³/min) – note maximum to 85% of pressure setting

The PS10-40 is suitable for mineral based or synthetic hydraulic fluid with lubricating properties.
