Poclain PM50 / PMe50 Axial Piston Pumps

Poclain PM50 pumps and PMe50 (with electronics) are variable displacement axial piston pumps with a swash plate design. They are for use in closed circuit hydrostatic transmissions.

These pumps are equipped with high pressure relief valves and can be delivered with auxiliary gear pumps; they are are available as single or tandem pumps.

They provide a continuously variable flow rate between zero and maximum in forward and reverse direction. Flow rate is proportional to rotation speed and the swashplate angle.

A charge pump can also be used to keep the circuit pressurised. This avoids risk of cavitation and ensures a good performance of the transmission.

Several types of control are available: hydraulic, electrical and electro-proportional. Hydraulic and electro-proportional controls can also be equipped with feedback device.

Other options include: a flushing valve and filter on the charge pressure line. Rotation can be clockwise or counterclockwise.

Theoretical flow across the pump series ranges from 144 to 187.2 litres/minute.
