Danfoss W-Series Orbital Motors

Danfoss W-Series orbital motors, covering the WD, WP, WR, WG and WS series, have been discontinued. The W-Series was developed by White Drive Products, now part of Danfoss, and covered low to medium duty mobile and industrial applications with pressure ratings from 160 to 207 bar (2,320 to 3,000 psi). All five series are now discontinued. Details of each series are provided below for reference.

WD Series: Compact low-duty orbital motors with integral check valves and an optional case drain, both of which reduce strain on internal seals. Suited to light-duty applications where a compact envelope is a priority.
WP Series: Low-duty orbital motors for applications requiring high torque in a compact package. Cost-effective alternative to the OMP series. Suited to automatic car wash brushes, food processing equipment, conveyors, machine tools, agricultural equipment, sweepers and skid steer attachments.
WR Series: Orbital motors featuring optimised Roller Stator® geometry with seven precision rollers designed to eliminate sliding friction between rotor and stator. The spool valve is designed for smooth operation over a wide speed and torque range. Cost-effective alternative to the OMR series.
WG Series: Orbital motors with standard needle bearings for applications where side loading may be a concern. Suited to light to medium duty applications across a range of mobile and industrial machinery.
WS Series: Medium-duty orbital motors for applications requiring higher torque under demanding conditions. Suited to agricultural equipment, skid steer attachments and other machinery requiring higher torque output than the WP or WR can provide.

The W-Series was a cost-effective alternative to those O-Series motors within the same low- to medium-duty applications.
