Argo-Hytos Filtration

Argo-Hytos filtration covers every filter position in a hydraulic circuit: suction, return, return-suction, pressure and high pressure filters, filling and ventilating filters, off-line filters and filter units, and EXAPOR replacement filter elements.

Nominal flow ratings run from 4 l/min for the smallest off-line filters to 1,450 l/min for the FNL 2000 low-pressure in-line filter, and high pressure filters are rated up to 630 bar.

Most ranges are offered in several housing sizes within each series, so a filter can be matched closely to the flow and pressure of the circuit. Argo-Hytos Filter Range

The range is grouped by filter position in the circuit.

  • Suction Filters: For installation in the pump suction line, with in-tank, side-tank and in-line mounting and thread or hose connections. The AS 010–AS 150 series covers 15–350 l/min with G½–G2½ connections. The SFL 025, 035, 040 and 075 cover 30–90 l/min, the ES 075 and ES 094 cover 45 and 70 l/min with G1¼ connections, and the S0.0426 and S0.0638 are rated at 60 and 160 l/min with M42x2 and M64x2 threads.
  • Return Filters: Nominal flows of 35–900 l/min, with most housings rated to 10 bar. Smaller sizes include the D 090/100, D 170/230, E 043/072, E 103/143 and E 212/222 alongside the RFL and RFT series; the E 444–E 644, E 441–E 700 and E 303–E 703 series cover 270–900 l/min. The FR 043 and FR 072 are rated to 6 bar. Mounting is in-line, on the tank top or in a separate return-flow tank section, with options including an integrated replaceable ventilating filter, an extension pipe and a diffuser.
  • Return-Suction Filters: Combine return and suction filtration in one housing, with a connection for the boost pump of hydrostatic drives. In-line or tank-top mounting, rated to 10 bar, covering 80–850 l/min across the E 068/088, RST 084, E 158/198/248, E 178/258, RST-308, E 328/498 and E 598/998 series.
  • Pressure Filters: In-line filters for medium-pressure circuits, with optical or electrical clogging indicators. The D 042/062 and D 072/112/152 cover 44–170 l/min at 100 bar, and the D 162/232/332 cover 250–350 l/min at 63 bar. The FNL 1000 and FNL 2000 low-pressure in-line filters are rated at 555 and 1,450 l/min at 40 bar with SAE flange connections.
  • High Pressure Filters: Rated from 500 to 630 bar, covering 40–1,000 l/min, with block, in-line or flange mounting and an optional reverse flow function. The Worldline 100, 200 and 300 series (HD 049 to HD 619) are rated to 630 bar and 75–450 l/min, and Worldline 400 (HD 790 and HD 990) to 570 bar at 750 and 1,000 l/min. Further 500 bar ranges include the HD 037–HD 097, HD 044/064, HD 314/414/614 and HD 417/617 with SAE flange connections, plus the HD 040, HD 081 and HD 150 high-pressure safety filters.
  • Filling and Ventilating Filters: Control pressure changes in the reservoir as the oil level rises and falls. The L1 series covers 135–850 l/min, with vandalism-proof versions in the L1.0808, L1.0809 and LE series. The LT.1021-51 and LT.1325-51 ventilating dryers (desiccant breathers), rated at 300 and 400 l/min, stop humidity entering the tank as it breathes. Options include double check valves and dipsticks.
  • Off-line Filters and Filter Units: For filtering oil outside the main circuit. The FNS 060 and FNS1 040 use a flow regulator to draw 4–6 l/min from the high pressure line at up to 320 bar. The FN 060, FN1 040 and FN1 300 have no flow regulator and suit low-pressure circuits up to 12 bar at 40–300 l/min. FNA filter units cover 8–45 l/min, with FNAPC1 versions adding oil condition monitoring, FNA1HV versions for an extended viscosity range, and the FNA 014 with a 12/24 V DC motor.
  • Filter Elements: Replacement elements for Argo-Hytos filter housings, including EXAPOR MAX3 standard elements and EXAPOR AQUA water-absorbing elements.
