Parker Pressure Relief Valves

Parker pressure relief valves limit the maximum pressure in a hydraulic system.

When the inlet pressure exceeds the force of the spring, the valve opens and passes flow to tank, protecting pumps, actuators and other components from overload.

The range covers pilot operated relief valves for continuous duty, with stable control and low pressure drop at pressures up to 420 bar and flows up to 400 l/min, and direct acting relief valves in several cavity sizes for pressures up to 420 bar and flows up to 200 l/min. Many of the pilot operated series come from the former Denison range.

Parker Pressure Relief Valve Range

Featured Series

R4V and R6V (subplate): Pilot operated relief valves with a seated main stage, for ISO 6264 subplates (R4V to DIN 24340 Form D, R6V to Form E). Three pressure stages up to 350 bar, adjusted by hand knob, acorn nut with lead seal or cylinder lock, with remote control through port X and an optional solenoid vent for unloading at minimum pressure. Proportional (P2) versions allow continuous pressure adjustment.
R4V and R6V (OBE): Proportional pilot operated relief valves with digital onboard electronics, for 0 to 10 V or 4 to 20 mA command signals, with an optional mechanical maximum pressure setting.
R4V and R6V (TUEV): Relief valves set and sealed by TUEV, supplied with a certificate of conformity for safety-related uses. Sizes NG10, NG25 and NG32, with pressure ranges from 70 to 350 bar.
R4V and R4V*P2 (in-line): In-line versions of the R4V for single functions without a manifold block, in L and T body styles with three pressure stages up to 350 bar.
R5V and R5V*P2: Pilot operated relief valves for SAE flange mounting directly on a pump or actuator, in 2-port (SAE 3/4 in to 1 1/4 in) and 3-port (SAE 3/4 in to 1 1/2 in) bodies, with manual or proportional adjustment.
R1E02: Direct operated seated relief valve with a G 1/4 connection, rated up to 350 bar and 3.8 l/min, for remote control of pilot operated valves and pump compensators. Front panel or subplate mounting, with a damping spool for stable operation.
