Vickers PVH Series Pumps
The Vickers by Danfoss PVH pumps are a family of high flow, high performance, variable displacement, in-line piston pumps, available in industrial and mobile variants. They incorporate the proven design, manufacturing techniques and operating features of other Vickers piston pumps in a smaller, lighter package, and are designed to meet 250 bar (3625 psi) continuous duty performance, with up to 280 bar (4050 psi) operating performance in a load-sensing system.
The range is built around a heavy duty, compact housing for long life at higher performance levels, with heavy duty bearings and shafts to minimise internal deflection and wear. A versatile design includes single pumps and thru-drive arrangements, with a variety of drive shaft and control options to suit the application, and quiet variants are available for noise-sensitive industrial use.
PVH pumps are designed for maximum efficiency across a broad range of applications, including earthmoving, construction, machine tool and plastics equipment. A variety of compensators provide effective system control, and volumetric efficiency of over 95% directs more input energy to useful work rather than heat and waste. Service kits are available for the most critical rotating and control components to simplify servicing.

Control Options
K – Electronic displacement control
Uses a proportional flow control valve to limit pump displacement; increasing the command signal increases pump displacement. The control has closed-loop swashplate feedback for accuracy, using amplifier card EEA-EDC-436-A*-14 and a 5-pin connector.
L – Electronic displacement control with shuttle valve
As the K option, with the addition of a shuttle valve and auxiliary pressure port. Also uses closed-loop swashplate feedback and amplifier card EEA-EDC-436-A*-14.
Typical Applications
- Agriculture: harvesters, sprayers
- Construction: backhoe and wheel loaders, concrete pumps
- Industrial: marine and offshore, presses and extruders
- Specialty: refuse trucks, airport ground support
