Eaton Hydraulic Pumps
Eaton hydraulic pumps cover a wide range of industrial and mobile applications, from compact piston pumps for machine tools to high-pressure axial piston pumps for demanding industrial drives.
The Eaton hydraulic pumps range includes DuraForce and Hydrokraft axial piston pumps, Vickers vane and piston pumps, and gear pumps that now sit within the Danfoss Power Solutions portfolio following the 2021 acquisition of Eaton’s hydraulics business.
Eaton Pump Families
- DuraForce HPR and HPV (Vickers by Danfoss): Axial piston pumps with a modular design, displacements from 55 to 280 cc and operating pressures up to 420 bar. HPR and HPV pumps are directly interchangeable across many applications.
- Hydrokraft PVW, PFW, PVX and PFX (Vickers by Danfoss): Variable- and fixed-displacement open-circuit axial piston pumps with a swashplate design and a robust housing enclosure. PVW/PFW cover displacements from 130 to 750 cc; PVX/PFX cover 66 to 250 cc. Both pressure rated up to 350 bar.
- Hydrokraft TVW and TVX (Vickers by Danfoss): Variable closed-circuit piston pumps for industrial applications, with a through-drive design and integrated HST circuit. TVW covers displacements from 130 to 750 cc; TVX covers 66 to 90 cc. Both pressure rated up to 350 bar, suited to applications including crusher feeder drives, dewatering presses and cranes.
- Vickers PVB Series: Variable displacement piston pumps for smaller open-circuit applications, displacements from 10 to 94 cc, operating pressures up to 210 bar.
- Vickers PVH Series: Compact, high-pressure piston pumps for mid-range industrial and mobile applications, displacements from 57 to 141 cc, operating pressures up to 250 bar, with a range of control options including torque-limiting. Suited to continuous-duty mobile equipment such as skid steer loaders and boom lifts.
- Vickers PVM and PVMX Series: PVM open-circuit piston pumps cover displacements from 18 to 141 cc at pressures up to 315 bar, with a low-noise design. The newer PVMX series extends this range with continuous pressure ratings up to 350 bar (420 bar peak) and speeds up to 3,800 rpm, currently available from 28 cc displacement.
- Vickers PVQ Series: Variable displacement piston pumps for lower-flow applications, displacements from 10 to 45 cc, and operating pressures up to 210 bar. Suited to machine tools, small presses and shears, and conveyor lines.
- Vickers PVE Series: (Discontinued): Open-circuit variable-displacement piston pump for unsupported power take-off drive applications, displacements from 25 to 45 cc, operating pressures up to 210 bar. Uses a die-cast housing to reduce weight for mobile operation. Options include pressure compensation, pressure and flow compensation, and remote pressure control.
- Eaton MD-PFC Series: Medium-duty pressure- and pressure-flow-compensated piston pumps for applications needing a lightweight design, lower displacements and configuration flexibility.
- Vickers V, V10 and V20 Series: Vane pumps for industrial and mobile applications. The V Series uses an intra-vane cartridge design for quiet operation in indoor applications. V10 and V20 are fixed displacement vane pumps for medium- to low-pressure applications, both available with integrated flow control valves.
- Vickers VQ, VQH and VMQ Series: Fixed displacement vane pumps with an intra-vane cartridge design. VQH offers higher pressure and performance than VQ through its rotor design, sharing the same envelope size for flexible integration. VMQ is a high-pressure, low-noise vane pump variant within the same family.
