The Customer: Steel Rolling Mill
The Task: Hydraulics Online was approached by a new, overseas customer and tasked with quoting for the supply of 8 Bosch Rexroth pump-motor sets.
The Solution: The Bosch Rexroth pump-motor sets were quoted as requested, but the long lead time was not acceptable to the customer. Hydraulics Online therefore offered to establish and quote on supplying a direct equivalent and proposed Danfoss Series 90, 75 kw pump-motor sets available at half the lead time of the original Bosch Rexroth units. The customer proceeded to order on this basis and the Sauer Danfoss pump-motor sets were shipped as agreed and worked perfectly from day one.
