MP Filtri Suction Filters/Strainers

MP Filtri suction filters and strainers are used as safety filters to protect pumps from gross contamination which can cause them to seize.

The range of MP Filtri suction filters and strainers comprises:

ELIXIR SFEX | suction filter for protection of the downstream pump against coarse contamination, flow rates up to 100 litres/minute, female threaded connections up to 1 1/4″ and SAE connections up to 1 5/8″.
STRC | submerged suction strainer, flow rates up to 1000 litres/minute, female threaded connections up to 3″, optional bypass valve.
MPAC | submerged suction strainer with magnetic filter, flow rates up to 1000 litres/minute, female threaded connections up to 3″.
SFMC | semi-submerged suction filter with integrated shut-off valve, flow rates up to 160 litres/minute, female threaded connections up to 1″ and flanged connections up to 1 1/2″.
SFSC | semi-submerged suction filter with integrated shut-off valve, flow rates up to 700 litres/minute, flanged connections up to 4″.

Both have the same integrated shut-off valve design. SFMC is the smaller of the two, rated to 160 litres/minute with threaded or flanged connections up to 1 1/2″. SFSC is rated to 700 litres/minute with flanged connections up to 4″, and can take an optional magnetic filter and electrical switch to signal when the shut-off valve is closed.
