Olaer Fawcett Christie, formerly Fawcett Christie Hydraulics, has had its roots firmly in the UK hydraulics industry for well over 50 years.
Olaer, pioneer of high pressure equipment, was founded in
1938 by Jean Mercier. He engineered the first gas-loaded bladder accumulator – paving the way for Olaer to become the indisputable international leader in this field.
In 1987, Fawcett Engineering and Christie Hydraulics (both in the UK) became part of the Olaer Group and merged to become Fawcett Christie Engineering. The Group continued to expand over the 25 years that followed and established a worldwide manufacturing and supply network.
Parker Hannifin acquired the Olaer Group in 2012 and the
Accumulator and Cooler Division Europe was established.
Now part of one of the world’s leading manufacturing companies, the Accumulator and Cooler Division Europe continues to develop new products and services and offers a comprehensive accumulator product range suitable for any market or application.
The Parker Olaer accumulator range comprises: bladder, piston and diaphragm accumulators, attenuators, gas bottles, accumulator systems, charging kits and accessories. It also extends to industrial chillers, filters, liquid/liquid separators, pulsation dampers, surge vessels and pressure boosters.
