Danfoss hydraulic motors cover a wide range of mobile and industrial applications, from compact orbital motors for agricultural and construction machinery to high-pressure axial piston motors for demanding industrial drives.

The range includes orbital motors, hydrostatic motors, gear motors, and the Vickers and Eaton motor portfolio that transferred to Danfoss Power Solutions following the acquisition of the Eaton hydraulics division in 2021.

Danfoss Motor Families

  • Vickers and Eaton Motors by Danfoss: The Vickers and Eaton motor range within the Danfoss portfolio covers gear, vane, medium pressure and high-pressure piston motors under both the Vickers by Danfoss and Eaton brand designations, including the Duraforce HMA, HMF, HMV and HMR series and the Hydrokraft MFX, MFW, MVX and MVW series.
  • Danfoss O-Series Orbital Motors: The O-Series covers small- to large- and medium- to heavy-duty orbital motors with pressure capability up to 275 bar (3,990 psi). The range includes OMH, OML, OMEW, OMP, OMR, OMS, OMT and OMV series motors, suited to open and closed loop circuits for agricultural, construction, forestry and material handling applications.
  • Danfoss T-Series Orbital Motors: High-pressure orbital motors with a pressure capability of up to 350 bar (5,080 psi) and high starting torque. The T-Series covers TMK, TMT, TMTHW and TMVW motor types, with integrated speed sensor and brake options, a low-leakage design and a cardan shaft with high bearing capacity for use in demanding environments.
  • Danfoss W-Series Orbital Motors: Compact orbital motors covering the WD, WP, WR, WG and WS series, with pressure ratings from 160 to 207 bar. Suited to light- to medium-duty mobile applications.
  • Danfoss Hydrostatic Motors: Closed-circuit axial piston motors and open-circuit reverse displacement motors for hydrostatic transmission applications. The range includes the H1 bent-axis motors, the Reverse Displacement Motor (RDM) for fan drive applications, and the MP1 fixed-displacement axial piston motor for mobile equipment.
  • Danfoss Gear Motors: Aluminium and cast iron gear motors for mobile and industrial applications. The range covers the GearMe, Lumin, Rugid and Shark series across Group 1, 2 and 3 frame sizes.
  • Danfoss Xcel Orbital Motors: The Xcel series covers five low- and medium-duty orbital motor types — XLH, XLS, XL2, XL4 and XL6 — spanning spool valve and disc valve designs with displacements from 50 to 985 cm³/r.
  • Char-Lynn Orbital Motors: Char-Lynn spool valve and disc valve orbital motors are part of the Danfoss portfolio and are listed on the Char-Lynn brand page, including the J, H, S, T spool valve series and the 2K, Delta, 4K, 4KC, 6K and 10K disc valve series.
