Parker Hydraulic Motors

Parker hydraulic motors cover bent axis piston, radial piston, gear, gerotor, vane and brake motors for mobile and industrial applications, in fixed and variable displacement versions.

The range runs from compact high-speed motors at up to 15,000 rpm to low speed, high torque radial piston motors delivering up to 35,000 Nm.

Many of the current ranges come from companies that are now part of Parker, including Commercial Intertech, Denison Hydraulics, Gresen, Tyrone, Calzoni, Nichols and Voac, so older part numbers from these brands are still common in service.

Parker Hydraulic Motor Range

Bent Axis Piston Motors

  • F11 and F12: Fixed displacement bent axis motors rated up to 420 bar, with speeds up to 14,000 rpm on the smallest F11 frame. Suitable for open and closed circuits, with ISO, SAE and cartridge mounting options.
  • T12, V12 and V14: Variable displacement bent axis motors rated up to 480 bar. The V12 offers a 5:1 displacement ratio with a broad range of controls.

Radial Piston Motors

  • Calzoni MR and MRE: Fixed displacement, low speed, high torque motors using Calzoni fluid column technology, from 72.6 to over 8,000 cm³/r and up to 35,000 Nm. Peak pressures up to 420 bar (MR) and 400 bar (MRE).
  • MRD, MRDE, MRV, MRVE, MRT and MRTE: Dual and variable displacement versions and further variants of the Calzoni design. Options include parking brakes, speed sensors and gearboxes, and an ATEX version is available.

Gear Motors

  • PGM series: Aluminium and cast-iron gear motors, including the PGM030/031, 051, 075/076, 315, 330, 350, 365, 505, 511, 610, 620 and 640. Cast iron models such as the PGM620 are rated up to 275 bar and are bi-directional, with multiple section versions available.

Gerotor Motors

  • Nichols 700 and 716: Medium duty 2-speed motors from 59 to 423 cm³/r, with two power elements on a common shaft and an integral series/parallel valve giving a 2:1 speed ratio.
  • Nichols M2 and M4: High speed gerotor motors.

Vane Motors

  • M3 and M4: Medium duty vane motors.
  • M5A and M5B: Heavy duty two-vane motors from 6 to 45 cm³/r, with high starting torque and low noise. Valves can be built into the motor for fan drive and cooling circuits.

Brake Motors

  • Torqmotor BG, BH, DF and DG: Low speed, high torque motors with an integral brake, from 141 to 959 cm³/r and up to 276 bar (4,000 psi) intermittent. The BG has a spring-applied, hydraulically released wet disc brake and the DG an integral mechanical drum brake.
