Vickers Hydraulic Valves

Vickers hydraulic valves cover a wide range of industrial and mobile applications, from standard directional control valves to high-performance servo valves and software-configurable proportional valves. The range includes industrial valves, mobile valves, screw-in cartridge valves and associated electronics.

As with all Vickers products, the Vickers hydraulics valves range transferred from Eaton to Danfoss Power Solutions in 2021 and is now marketed as Vickers by Danfoss under the same series designations.

Vickers Industrial Valves

AxisPro Proportional Valves: Software-configurable proportional directional valves with on-board digital electronics. Available in direct-acting (KBSD) and pilot-operated (KBHD) configurations, with built-in support for common communication protocols and on-board diagnostics. No amplifier-to-valve setup is required, reducing commissioning time. IP67 ingress protection rating with a high corrosion resistance option available. Operating pressure up to 350 bar (5,000 psi), flows up to 375 l/min (99 USgpm). The AxisPro is the successor to the KBSDG proportional valve series and is software-configurable in the field for custom solutions and real-time changes.
DG Directional Control Valves: Solenoid-operated directional control valves for industrial hydraulic systems. Available with a solenoid, hydraulic pilot, pneumatic pilot, lever or mechanical actuation. Three- and four-way directional control, mountable on industry-standard surfaces. Flows up to 1,100 l/min (290 USgpm), pressures to 350 bar (5,000 psi). The DG4V-3 is the D03/NG6 direct-acting variant; a lower tank port pressure rating option is also available at 160 bar (2,300 psi) for cost-sensitive applications. Fatigue life tested to over 20 million cycles.
Check Valves: Standard Vickers check valves for controlling flow direction in industrial hydraulic circuits.
Flow Control Valves: Temperature- and pressure-compensated flow control valves for precise volumetric control in industrial hydraulic systems. Available in bypass type (with integral relief valve) and restrictor type (without integral relief valve). Suitable for pressures up to 248 bar (3,600 psi). Adjustable flow control valves are also available for applications requiring flow regulation without pressure compensation.
Pressure Control Valves: Vickers pressure control valves for industrial hydraulic systems, including relief valves, reducing valves and sequence valves across a range of pressure settings and flow rates.
Relief Valves: Direct-acting and pilot-operated relief valves for system pressure protection. Available across a range of pressure and flow configurations for industrial applications.
Proportional Flow Valves: Electronically controlled proportional flow valves for applications requiring variable, repeatable flow rate control in industrial systems.
Proportional Pressure Valves: Three-way pressure-reducing and relieving valves providing a controlled output pressure as a function of electric current, independent of system pressure or flow within the valve’s operating range. Pressures to 350 bar (5,000 psi), flows to 400 l/min (106 USgpm). Applications include single-acting cylinder position control, clutch and brake pressure control, and pilot signals to directional control valves.
Slip-In Cartridge Valves: Vickers slip-in cartridge valves to ISO 7368 (DIN 24342) for manifold-mounted installations. Offer a compact approach to hydraulic circuit design, with pilot options including the DG4V-3 solenoid-operated directional valve, DG17V-3 manual, DG3V-3 pilot-operated and DG18V-3 air-operated variants.
SystemStak Modular Valves: Sandwich-mounted modular valves for building integrated valve assemblies between a directional control valve and a standard mounting surface. Multiple functions (directional, pressure and flow control) can be combined in a single stack, reducing external plumbing and potential leak points. Operating pressure up to 315 bar (4,500 psi), flows up to 340 l/min (90 USgpm).
SM4 and SX4 Servo Valves: Two-stage, four-way flapper-nozzle servo valves for closed-loop hydraulic control. Subplate or manifold mounted with a symmetrical design for consistent metering and minimal null shift. Operating pressure up to 350 bar (5,000 psi). The SM4-20 and SX4 handle flows to 76 l/min (20 USgpm); the SM4-40 handles flows to 151 l/min (40 USgpm). Frequency response over 100 Hz at 90-degree phase lag. Provide cylinder position control to within 0.025 mm or better, and proportional flow control for velocity and acceleration profiles in servo motor applications. The SX4 is the higher-performance variant, offering extended frequency response, improved stability in closed-loop systems and greater vibration resistance through a six-screw mounting arrangement. Standardised port circle and mounting pattern with available adapter manifolds.
Proportional Valve Amplifiers and Electronics: Drive electronics and amplifier cards for Vickers proportional valves, required for non-OBE (non-on-board electronics) proportional valve configurations.

Vickers Mobile Valves

CLS Load Sensing Sectional Valves: Load-sensing directional control valves for mobile hydraulic systems. The CLS series provides proportional flow control independent of load pressure variation, making it suitable for multi-function mobile machinery where simultaneous, independent actuator control is required.
CMA Sectional Valves: Sectional directional control valves for mobile applications. Available in a range of configurations for open and closed centre circuits.
CMJ Directional Control Valves: Compact directional control valves for mobile hydraulic applications.
39055 Self-Levelling Valves: Specialist valves for self-levelling applications on mobile equipment.
VLC, VLE and VLH Priority Valves: Priority flow valves for mobile hydraulic systems, ensuring preferential flow to steering circuits or other priority functions regardless of demand elsewhere in the system.
HRC4, HRC2 and HRCP Remote Controls: Hydraulic remote control units for operating mobile valve banks from a distance. Suited to crane, marine and industrial remote control applications.
Mobile Relief Valves: Relief valves for mobile hydraulic circuits, including models 32107, 32112, 32060, RM3 and FM3.
