Hydraulic rotary vane pumps have higher efficiencies than gear pumps.
Rotary vane pumps function with a continuous flow, so that they make less noise, even though they are working at a relatively high speed. The working pressure doesn’t tend to exceed 175 bar, however several pumps that have been designed specially may surpass pressures of 200 bar and reach up to 300 bar. They are also composed of two parts; the rotor and the vanes and are highly efficient pumps.
